What can I say ? I appreciate deeply the fact that, not only the download is free (that's maybe not useful to mention it anyway, since almost any post on this forum is about music you don't have to pay for, but who am I to give such an advice ? ), but also, the EP is freely licensed, which is even better, and, another nice point, it has a 'share alike' term, so then sampling it and so on is permitted as long as the whole process in non-commercial... All of this, is great.
But, I think it would be better if it was published here on Dogmazic. I do not like Bandcamp very much, for various reason I will not mention, and I usually (if not always) do not use this service excepting for streaming from it.
I'll give the release a listen sooner or later and will come back here to tell what I think of it, just in case someone cares about my opinion, which is only worthing what it is worthing, that is to say, probably, not much for most people ; but since I know there's artists around liking to have feedback I try as much as possible to give some whenever I listen to something.
Bye and thanks for sharing your music.
Thanks again !
-what I liked in this release :
The synth sounds are quite well selected I think. The production is pleasant, subtle and not too loud, as well as the musical writing. I especially liked the (very light) dancehall touch on the Morph's rhythmbox track. (Morph is my favorite track on this release by the way, I like the melody a lot)... And, last but not least, the cover artwork is absolutely great.
-what I didn't like in this release :
Well, to sum up : nothing... Excepting that I do not usually listen to Drum'n'bass a lot, that is not my favorite style... But even for people who do not like D'N'B, there is, I think, so much good points in these tracks that even them should have the ability to enjoy the whole EP.
Bye !
